As a Financial Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, I empower women to take control of their finances – especially during life’s big transitions.
I serve as a strategic advisor and sounding board to my clients in all aspects of their financial wellness, whether that means developing a retirement plan, advising on advantageous timing of Social Security withdrawals, considering this year’s tax consequences, establishing an optimal cash flow or supporting them through unexpected financial situations.
My goal is to make the financial world straightforward so that my clients can feel confident in the road map we build together and have more time to focus on more important things in their lives.
I understand the weight of the burden that falls on women – particularly widowed, divorced and head of household women – to provide for their own future. And I am dedicated to supporting women through these transitions to help them set themselves up for financial independence.
I am a Financial Advisor with Green Financial Group and registered through the RJFS. I earned my Finance degree from the University of Georgia and later, a dual Masters in Business Administration and Masters in Science in Hospitality from the University of Houston. I also hold the AAMS (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) designation from the College of Financial Planning, the series 7 and 66 licenses, and am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional (CFP®).
I am originally from Beaumont, Texas now living in Houston. A devout Bulldog, every fall you can find me in Athens, Georgia in the stands of UGA football games. I also love traveling with friends and spending time with my cat, Pippa, and dog, Mamba.
I believe every woman should feel
confident in her financial independence.
I help women plan for their finances through the different stages and transitions of their lives.

I understand women face unique financial challenges.
Women tend to have a longer life expectancy than men.
Because women tend to live longer than men, they may want to consider a different retirement or social security strategy to optimize their wealth. For example, women may want to work longer or take social security later in life. They may also be entitled to spousal benefits through social security if their partner passes away before them. This – and more – is all taken into account when we customize financial plans for our female clients.
Women generally earn less over their lifetimes than their male counterparts.
Unfortunately, a pay gap still exists between men and women where women tend to be underpaid over the lifetime of their careers. Some of this inequity has also evolved around the fact that women tend to reduce their paid work schedules or take time off to devote time to the caregiving of their children or elderly relatives. We can help women develop a wealth management and retirement plan based on their unique career path or personal situation that will help them make the most of their finances.
Women are not always invited to a seat at the financial table.
Another big issue many women face is not feeling confident in understanding their personal or family finances, simply because they haven’t been included or educated along the way. Many women report being uninvolved in their family finances because their partner has taken the reins. This can be problematic when life complications arise, or when partners pass away or women get divorced. We help empower women to embrace their financial independence, whether they’re catching up on 4 months or 40 years of financial literacy.
I like helping women make money.
I fight to make financial independence accessible for everyone.
I understand that not everybody has a background in finance, but I firmly believe that everybody deserves to be empowered enough to make educated, strategic decisions to build and preserve their wealth. I am dedicated to providing the education, guidance and services that will help every woman who walks through our doors feel confident in her financial future.
I sit on the same side of the table as my clients.
The truth about financial advisors is that in most cases, our compensation is directly tied to how well our clients do financially. That means that a financial gain for you is a financial gain for your advisor. Because of that and the personal relationships we build with each client, our interests are completely aligned and we remain focused on how to help your money grow.
My focus on women is a deeply personal mission.
My mom taught me the importance of financial independence.
Growing up, I watched my mom serve as the financial head of our household as well as run her own small business. Having her as a role model taught many valuable lessons about entrepreneurship, finance and independence which I carry with me today. And witnessing first-hand how hard she and my dad worked and planned to ensure our family’s well-being and happiness well into retirement was one of the catalysts that inspired me to become a Financial Advisor where I now get to help other families do the same.
I watched my grandmother struggle after becoming a widow unexpectedly - and I don’t want that for anybody else.
After my grandfather passed away unexpectedly, I watched my grandmother struggle with the complexities of dealing with a loss as well as trying to unravel their family’s financial state of affairs. It was a very hard time for her and those of us trying to support her, and I am committed to helping any women in that type of position have a smoother transition by being a much-needed friend, advisor and sounding board.
